At a time when people are embracing technology more deeply into their lives, companies’ attempts to meet their needs and expectations are falling short. The digital world is more intimate and personal than ever imaginable, but the models for data, ownership, and experience that define that world has remained the same. We are experiencing a tech-clash where outdated ecosystem and data models, architectures, and governing structures systems and services are incongruous with what people need from their technology. For organizations to compete, businesses need to rebuild business and technology models to defuse tech-clash, build human-centered models, and foster trusting relationships with people.
