The next technology transformation humans will witness is from automation to autonomy. As we move across this continuum towards autonomy, automated machines/robots can process data faster with greater accuracy, communicate with each other, and program/re-program themselves to act and react without explicit instructions. Certainly, the auto industry is miles ahead in this transformation and is racing towards high and complete automation/ autonomous, disrupting the sector. New use cases are rapidly evolving in several other sectors including manufacturing, warehouse automation, workforce automation and public safety. The session will dwell deep into the defining trends in the evolution from automation to autonomous and what the future holds.
