Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy is an Indian entrepreneur who has firmly placed India on the global map for leading-edge Engineering, and R&D services by establishing Cyient (formerly Infotech Enterprises) in 1991. Cyient contributed more than $3 billion in cumulative exports from India to Fortune 100 companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, Phillips, and Caterpillar, resulting direct employment for about 15,000 engineering professionals in 47 locations across 22 countries.

Dr. Reddy has served as the Chairman of NASSCOM (2015-16). He has served as the Chairman of CII, Southern Region (2008-2009), and is currently the Co-Chair of its Education Council. Dr. Reddy is also the Founding Director of T-Hub, the largest start-up incubation center in India. Dr. Reddy acts as the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany for the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and also serves on the Board of Coromandel International Limited.

He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT-Hyderabad, a member on the Board of National Skill Development Corporation, and member of Court of Governors of Administrative Staff College of India.

Dr. Reddy received India’s fourth highest civilian award—the Padma Shri—in 2017 for his contribution to trade and industry in the country. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Leadership Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (CIE Division) in 2011.

Dr. Reddy holds postgraduate degrees from IIT-Kanpur, and University of Michigan, USA. He received honorary doctorates from JNTU-Hyderabad, JNTU-Kakinada, Andhra University, and KL University.
